Advanced Fastening Solutions for Lightweight Thin-Gauge Assemblies via Premier Taiwan Engineering
As industries transition toward lightweighting and compact designs, engineers often encounter the paradox of needing high-strength thread engagement within thin-gauge materials where vertical space is at a premium. Our Truncated / Double-layer Rivet Nuts are engineered to bridge this gap. By integrating Taiwan’s premier Cold Forging technology with CNC precision, we deliver a solution that provides maximum thread depth without the interference caused by traditional long-body fasteners. This is the ultimate choice for Tier 1 suppliers seeking to optimize assembly footprints while maintaining rigorous safety standards.
Technical Highlights
1. Optimized Grain Flow: Exceptional Fatigue & Shear Strength
Unlike traditional machined-only components, our rivet nuts are formed through cold-heading. This process preserves the metal's continuous Grain Flow, which significantly enhances the hardness and structural rigidity of the internal threads. The result is superior fatigue resistance and thread integrity, ensuring reliability even under prolonged dynamic stress and vibration.
2. Truncated Geometric Advantage: Maximum Thread Engagement in Compact Spaces
The innovative truncated (double-layer) design allows for a shorter overall body length while providing the same effective thread engagement as standard fasteners. This geometric optimization enables engineers to design thinner, more compact assemblies without sacrificing Pull-out Strength. It effectively eliminates component interference issues in tight environments, such as avionics bays or EV battery enclosures.
3. Superior Thin-Gauge Performance: Preserving Substrate Flatness
Specifically optimized for thin-gauge sheet metal applications, the deformation zone is engineered to distribute stress evenly during the setting process. This prevents substrate warping or surface dimpling, maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of the base material—ideal for automotive interiors, aerospace paneling, and marine instrumentation.
Spec Summary

( Nut Insert )
Top Screw ST series Threaded insert is designed to be installed in the small space. The body length after riveting is shorter than any standard type of blind rivet nut. The head of insert can press tightly against surface of application. ST series can be installed on application which the thickness is thicker than 0.03” (0.76mm) and the application can be most any type of material. The material for ST series can be Steel and Stainless Steel. Further information about recommended hole size, grip range and application thickness. Please refer below table.
